While I was a student, one of my projects was to create a "folded multi-page book." For that project, I created Calliope. I never got the chance to create a full concept sheet for her so I thought "Why not make one now?!"
For this particular concept sheet, my goal was to create more expressiveness in her reference poses; not just with facial expressions but with body language as well. Also, many concept artists use action poses to display their characters and I wanted to incorporate that too.
